21 things

Here is a list of 21 things I have on my mind right now.

1-I am hungry

2-I need to go to sleep.

3-I need to tell my dear readers some important things

4-I question my timing.

5-There is a baby in my future.

6-and when I say future, I mean in July. I'm over half way there.

7- 21 weeks actually, hence the 21 things.

8- I know someone who has been reading my blog has had "the itch" so I didn't want to put salt in it to make her feel sad/jealous/any other unpleasant emotion that is totally naturaly and understandable.

9- I've been there. I understand. I'm sorry.

10- But I figured it would be strange to all of a sudden start talking about another child in a few short months without metioning this important detail first.

11-I think I'm crazy because I am still trying to get into nursing school in August......with a 1 month old and a 2 year old.

12-I check the mail daily, even though I know the letter won't be there for another 2 weeks at least.

13-Work as a CNA while pregnant is starting to kill me. I don't know what I will do in a few months.

14-I hope that this is just a phase of my hips moving or something and once everything settles I won't feel like I ran a marathon every morning when I wake up.

15. The dr. said that baby was a boy early on.

16. He then revoked his answer and said girl.

17. My big ultrasound said the same thing.

18. We ask Zo where her baby sister is and she points to her bellybotton.

19. Chris is officially going to be outnumbered. (right now Zo doesn't count because she is too much of a tom boy. But even if this one is too, we can combine them together. And Chris is outnumbered.

20. I have a half innie half outie. I am going to miss my cute bellybotton.

21. I love my life.

A few things I did today

*Said a prayer with Zoey before work. :)
* Got a flat tire.
* Got really excited at the purchase of toe nail clippers at work. (the little ones just weren't cutting it.) (hahaha, I also made the same lame pun to my patients sister without realizing it until after)
* Gave my dad a BIG hug for fixing my tire
* Gave Zoey a chicken leg.
* Watched Zoey as she found the potato peeler, and peeled her chicken leg.
* Looked down to find my dear daughter putting chicken in my pocket.
* Watched WWIII, as Zoey wanted to take all of the Tupperware out of our drawer and mommy removed her from the kitchen.
* Tried not to laugh as Zoey decided that I wouldn't notice her going to the kitchen if she crawled.
* Grabbed toddler from crawling to the kitchen, which caused WWIV.
* Put on the duck song, and calmed the hysterical child down immediately.
* Kissed my husband.
* Read a bed time story with Zoey, in which she actually listened to.

Now, you too can say you watched the duck song today.

How to survive Walmart.

My husband worked in the Tire Lube Express (TLE) at Walmart when we were dating and our first few months of marriage. We learned a lot of things on how to not get overwhelmed by the hoards of people. I've narrowed it down to 4 easy steps.

1-Do not park at the front entrances. Simply drive to the back or side to the TLE. Most people don't realise they can park in the tiny parking lot there. But you can. It not only helps with finding a parking spot, but also with step three.

2-Say hi to the TLE worker at the desk. They may ask if you are getting your car serviced. Don't let this scare you about being parked there. Its ok. Trust me.

3-Shop. There really isn't a trick to this part. But have a game plan, it helps a bit.

4-Check at with the TLE worker at the desk. Often times they are just sitting there waiting for something to do. So help them pass the time by letting them check you out. Every once in a while there will be someone there, but chances are even then you won't be waiting for 30 minutes like everyone else at the front check stands. Also, if there is a line sometimes they get someone else to help out. That means that there are 2 people helping maybe 3 customers. That's a much better customer/employee ratio than anywhere else there. Make sure you say thanks for helping you out. This is especially helpful if you are alone with your children because you don't have to sit by all those impulse buys that they like to grab. :)

And that, my friend, is how we do Walmart.
