Here is a list of 21 things I have on my mind right now.
1-I am hungry
2-I need to go to sleep.
3-I need to tell my dear readers some important things
4-I question my timing.
5-There is a baby in my future.
6-and when I say future, I mean in July. I'm over half way there.
7- 21 weeks actually, hence the 21 things.
8- I know someone who has been reading my blog has had "the itch" so I didn't want to put salt in it to make her feel sad/jealous/any other unpleasant emotion that is totally naturaly and understandable.
9- I've been there. I understand. I'm sorry.
10- But I figured it would be strange to all of a sudden start talking about another child in a few short months without metioning this important detail first.
11-I think I'm crazy because I am still trying to get into nursing school in August......with a 1 month old and a 2 year old.
12-I check the mail daily, even though I know the letter won't be there for another 2 weeks at least.
13-Work as a CNA while pregnant is starting to kill me. I don't know what I will do in a few months.
14-I hope that this is just a phase of my hips moving or something and once everything settles I won't feel like I ran a marathon every morning when I wake up.
15. The dr. said that baby was a boy early on.
16. He then revoked his answer and said girl.
17. My big ultrasound said the same thing.
18. We ask Zo where her baby sister is and she points to her bellybotton.
19. Chris is officially going to be outnumbered. (right now Zo doesn't count because she is too much of a tom boy. But even if this one is too, we can combine them together. And Chris is outnumbered.
20. I have a half innie half outie. I am going to miss my cute bellybotton.
21. I love my life.

mini rant
My friend announced she was pregnant on facebook by posting a picture of an ultrasound. (Which is the second picture of its kind in the last 2 weeks to pop up on my facebook, apparently that's the way to break the news now days.... anywayzzzzz) I commented on it, so I got all the notifications and whatnot. About 30 comments down someone said "I have to ask....was it planned?"
For some reason, that ruffles my tail feathers. I think if you aren't close enough to know the answer, you shouldn't be asking it. What does it matter if it is planned or not? A child is a child, whether the parents decided it was time, or if Heavenly Father decided for them. My friend was obviously excited about it, so the fact that her baby was planned or not held nothing in terms of.....anything.
Perhaps the reason it bugs is that I had a conversation with this individual when I was pregnant, and it was basically about the same thing.
....perhaps she has been trying for a while. And in that respect a planned pregnancy is slightly easier to deal with emotionally than an oops?? I guess I can take that. But perhaps a picture comment isn't the best way to deal with it.
Goodness, I'm not even pregnant and peoples comments are already buggin me. That's not a good sign for when the next one blesses us in 50 years.

Day 11 Something People Complement you on
I'm skipping a few days. I feel like they are a little to personal to be sharing with the entire universe. I've learned something about blogging after "accepting the challenge:" Always read the challenge in its entirety before committing to it. I realize now, that some of them are kind of out there. And they swear. You really don't need to know who has made my life bad or who I have drifted away from. Its not like you know them, and even if you do I don't want you to think differently or anything about someone because you read some lowly little blog known as The Journey of a WAHM Wannabe. That's not cool.
So on to day 11. (besides I was pretty behind, so skipping these days puts me pretty close to where I should be in the first place.)
I get complements on being so tiny after having a baby. And I know 99.9% of you mothers are going to shake your head at me for saying this, but....I really don't feel like it is a fair complement. I only gained 17 pounds. I had diabetes and a few other various health issues that made me gain very little. So after giving birth I only had 4 pounds to loose before getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Breastfeeding made that pretty simple. So I feel guilty when people look at me and say things about me being so tiny yet having a 1 year old. (Oh, gosh. I still can't believe i have a 1 year old, I think its going to take a year to get used to this idea). I didn't work to get this, and I know mothers who work their butts off to get back to where they were before having their baby with little success. They are the ones that deserve the complement. Not me.
But for all you who find themselves with gestational diabetes, remember its not a death sentence even though it may feel like it. You potentially will gain less than 20 pounds and loose it all within the first week of being a mommy. :) There is an upside to that battle.

purse cleaning....
Yesterday I left my car keys in my husband's car. He was at work an hour away, so I was carless for the day. We had an extra set of keys at one point, but have gotten lost somewhere. I figured I'd try to find them. In this search I decided to clean 2 of my old purses in case they were in there. Unfortunately, no keys. But I did find a few fun things.
* 6 lip glosses ...no wonder I've been missing them for a while.
*thousands of tutie footie candies.***
* a spoon...
*multiple bags of fruit snacks, or protein bars
*$3.57 in change
*2 snickers wrappers
*1 Twix wrapper
*2 name tags for work. 1 was mine, the other one was my friends that I stole one day when I couldn't find my other one. I lost hers shortly after.
*lots of chocolate crumbs that attached to most of the change above
*Many other tiny things I've "lost"
Needless to say, I used both of those purses when I was pregnant. (Before I was diabetic). Can ya tell??
***(I'm only exaggerating a little when I say thousands. When I was pregnant I thought it was a great idea to go buy some tutie frooties. Unfortunately, they only come in 1 pound bags of one flavor. I couldn't have just one flavor, so I ended up getting 5 pounds of candy....)***
